As part of an exciting modernisation and investment programme taking place across the Post Office network, a brand new Mobile Post Office commenced in Carew last month.

The new Post Office mobile service will operate from the layby on Bird’s Lane, Carew, and is available every Tuesday between 9 am and 10.30 am and every Thursday between 10.15 am and 11.45 am. The new service will be provided by the postmaster who operates the Pembroke Mobile Post Office.

The service will offer customers a wide range of Post Office services, from posting letters and parcels to collecting and returning online shopping items. Customers will also be able to take advantage of a wide range of banking services including cash withdrawals and balance enquiries for customers of all the main UK banks.

Jeremy Kiff, Post Office area network change manager, said: “We want to make it as easy as possible for customers to pay their bills, withdraw cash from their bank accounts, and send and collect their mail as we know how important our services are to customers.”

He added: “We are confident that this brand new Post Office service will meet customer needs and the local community will join me in welcoming this good news.”
