The day before the annual Ironman Wales event, the popular ‘Ironkids Wales’ race was held in Tenby on Saturday, with thousands of children and families soaking up the atmosphere in the seaside town.

Ironkids is a ‘run only’ event for up to 2,000 children aged 3-14 years - all about fun and healthy living, with each child receiving a medal once they cross the finish line under the iconic Ironman finish gantry along The Esplanade in Tenby.

Ironkids Wales is focused on participation and fun, and aims to inspire children to lead a healthy and active lifestyle.

Each child received an Ironkids T-shirt to participate, and an Ironkids medal once they crossed the finish line.
