Following the success of the ‘murder mystery evening’ held at the club last winter, club member Lynn Reyed has devised another play, this time with the war as a background, inviting the audience to see if they can discover which one of the defendants is a traitor.

Graham Hughes, Dennis Reed, Sue Roden, Val James and Lynn, herself, will be playing the suspects, with Paul Blayney reprising his role as Reginald Digdeep, the interrogation officer, but this time the grandfather of the person he portrayed last time out (obviously the profession runs in the family!)

The event takes place on Friday, January 19, at the clubhouse and members and their friends are urged to attend to support Lynn and all the performers to make all their efforts worthwhile.

Quiz

This year’s quiz evening will take place on Thursday, February 15, again at the clubhouse, with Dennis Reed supported by Graham Hughes asking the questions.

Sponsorship

The club are pleased to announce their grateful thanks to the Heritage Park in Stepaside for their continued sponsorship of the Saundersfoot ‘Open Week’ tournaments, which will be held as usual, the last week of July.

Bowls Kingdom will also be providing financial support and will be in attendance all week supplying bowls, clothes, shoes and all accessories.

Social Evenings

The club intend to organise monthly social evenings for members and their guests and if anyone has any ideas for a themed night, then please contact any member of the committee.
