Firefighters from Whitland and Narberth attended a blaze near a solar park north of the A40 on Monday morning. The service received a call shortly after 10.45 am, after a transformer had caught fire at Whitland Solar Park, which is located on a site on land belonging to Caeremlyn Farm. Fire crews were uanble to tackle the fire until the power supply had been switched off and left the scene at around 12.30 pm. An investigation is now taking place into the cause of the incident.
