Tenby RNLI received two emergency calls within 30 minutes on Monday.
At 2.05 pm, Milford Haven Coastguard requested that relief all-weather Tamar class lifeboat Frank and Ann Wilkinson launch and proceed to Broadhaven where a swimmer had been reported in difficulty in the vicinity of Church Rock.
While the ALB was on route to Broadhaven, Milford Haven Coastguard also requested the launch of Tenby's relief D class lifeboat to proceed to Amroth where a person with leg injuries had been reported cut off on rocks. The person was recovered and landed at Wiseman's Bridge to waiting Tenby coastguard rescue team and ambulance.
On arrival at Broadhaven, Tenby ALB found that the swimmer had managed to reach the beach safely.
