Last Monday, May 23, participants at the Tenby Project were pleased to greet some old friends and some new – long lost friends turned up at the coffee morning and everyone enjoyed seeing them and making them welcome. Some new people came as well, so everyone was kept busy making sure coffee, tea and biscuits flowed, and that new friendships were made.

In the afternoon, after having mix and match wraps for lunch, Alison Bush came to demonstrate cardmaking. She showed how you could make lovely cards by piecing together bits from a collection of ready cut pieces. Everyone had a go, and made cards for friends, for bosses and for carers. It was lovely to have people from the TRI come to join us, and to have a visit by Cherry from PAVS.

After a big tidy-up, everyone sat down for a planning session, and decided that next week a wellbeing session in the afternoon would be great. In the morning this Monday, 39 May, there will be a coffee morning from 11 to 12 which everyone is invited to - £1 for coffee/tea and biscuits and £1 for a raffle ticket. In the afternoon, there will be some meditation and seated yoga, and if the weather is good, maybe a visit to the Community Garden. All welcome!
