Following the success of the inaugural TenFoot Swim on July 15, some of the TenFoot committee members were busy over the last week presenting cheques to the safety teams who helped ensure the event was a great success.

The committee were extremely grateful for the support they had from so many groups.

In addition to the £10,000 already donated between Bloodwise and The Rory Rogers Fund, a further £1,250 was donated between the safety teams.

Chris Williams said: “Without the support of the safety team, this event couldn’t have taken place. We recognise their support and are delighted to present them a cheque which I know will be invested well within their organisations. From the feedback we have had, their professionalism was widely commented on.”

Cheques were presented to Saundersfoot Sailing Club, Tenby Sailing Club, Tenby RNLI, Pembrokeshire Paddlers and Tenby Surf Lifesaving.
