Storm Eleanor caused some disruption across Pembrokeshire on Tuesday night through to the early hours of the following morning.
Similar to ‘Storm Brian’ back in November, flood warnings were issued for areas such as Amroth, Dale and Newgale, with the high tide at 6 pm.
Into Wednesday morning, clean up operations commenced on the A487 at Newgale after the road had been closed due to debris, whilst the road was also closed to traffic at Wiseman’s Bridge.
There was also a scattering of pebbles across the road at Amroth as high seas smashed against the cliffs of the seaside village.
Tenby and Saundersfoot both remained relatively sheltered from the storm.
The road at Carew Bridge was monitored by Pembrokeshire County Council as there was some minor flooding.
Partial closures for high sided vehicles on the Cleddau Bridge were in place during the stormy weather.
