Concern over motorists speeding in Narberth has been raised by the Town Council.
The issue was highlighted by Clr. Mike Platt at Tuesday night’s meeting when he said he had witnessed four cars ‘hammering up and down’ Northfield Road and were going faster and faster.
Clr. Platt added that there was previously a speed camera on the road, but it was removed as it was too close to the corner.
He said that he had also been nearly knocked down on the zebra crossing on the High Street and that cars ‘come flying up and don’t try to stop’.
Narberth’s Mayor, Clr. Chris Walters, said there was nothing that they could do about the issue, but it would help if the zebra crossing was repainted.
