During Easter celebrations at New Life Christian Fellowship, three of the young people wrote poems which they shared with the fellowship on Easter Sunday.

These prayer poems are published here as they summarise the Easter message so well.

Dear Jesus,

I give you my love on Easter Day,

Because you saved all of us,

in every way.

You are alive, and you never skive off loving us,

Because you are The Lord who rose from the grave,

so you could save us.

So, I give to you my love everyday,

Because I know in every way you love us;

And some day you will return to all of us.

Dear Lord,

We have to say thank you for dying on the cross for us,

And on this very day we remember when Mary went to the tomb,

And saw your body was gone.

We also remember when Jesus had the last Supper,

And they had the bread and the wine.

The wine represents Jesus' blood,

And the bread represents Jesus' body.

He said "do this every time and remember me."
