Huge crowds filled Tudor Square and High Street to see in the New Year in Tenby.

The weather was kind for everyone involved and the atmosphere in the town centre leading up to midnight was electric with huge crowds stretching from the top of the High Street through Tudor Square, and as far as the eye could see.

The New Year was welcomed in with an amazing firework display provided by Tenby House. The event proved that Tenby is one of the top destinations to welcome in the New Year!

Speaking at Tuesday night’s meeting of Tenby town council, the Mayor, Clr. Ms. Sue Lane, once again praised Tenby House for all the ‘hard work’ they put into the evening.

“I shared a video from the New Year’s Eve celebrations in Tudor Square filmed from the balcony of Tenby House, and it received over 15,000 views on Facebook, while the video Tenby House shared has had a whopping 75,000 views!” she told her fellow councillors.

“Once again I’d like to congratulate Tenby House and all involved for looking after Tenby so well. They do a fantastic job every year!” added Clr. Mrs. Lane.
