Pembrokeshire-based Luke Harding decided that he would like to raise funds for Paul Sartori recently, adding “Paul Sartori and a couple of other local charities were chosen as the work you all do in the local community is unquestionable and goes a long way.”
Luke raised money at the Have a Laugh Comedy Club charity night at Theatre Gwaun, where fundraising efforts from ticket sales and the raffle raised £1,300. Paul Sartori Foundation benefited from his fundraising, along with Shalom and Ward 10 at Withybush Hospital.
Presenting a cheque for £500 to the Paul Sartori Foundation, Luke met with Toni Dorkings, community fundraiser.
Toni highlighted the importance of individuals carrying out fundraising on behalf of the charity, adding: “Luke has done a great job for us and allows us to continue to provide our vital services in the community. We can’t thank these individuals enough as they contribute greatly to the wider fundraising efforts that go on in the county.”
The Paul Sartori Hospice at Home Service provides a range of services to people living in the final stages of a life-limiting illness, including home nursing care, equipment loan, complementary therapy, bereavement and counselling support, clinical nurse specialist in palliative care, physiotherapy, advance care planning and training.
