A Kilgetty couple who light up their home for charity over the Christmas period have thanked the community for their ‘generosity’ in helping raise an ‘amazing’ amount for a good cause.

Vic and Sheila Norman, of Kingsmoor Close, have raised the grand total of £1,635.11 for Pembrokeshire hospice the Paul Sartori Foundation after their 10th festive lighting display.

The couple have given their thanks to members of the public who visited the couple’s bungalow over Christmas to donate.

“Everyone has loved looking at the display, and it means a lot to us that we have beaten last year’s figure of £1,250,” said Sheila. “We would like to thanks everyone for their generosity.”

The switch on of the lights was carried out by the Paul Sartori Foundation’s community fundraiser Toni Dorkings, who is seen receiving the cheque from Vic and Sheila at their home.
