PAUL Sartori Foundation is delighted to be the beneficiary of a very special concert taking place at St Davids Cathedral this February, hosted by Totally Vocal Pembrokeshire and featuring world-renowned a cappella leader Deke Sharon.
The lunchtime concert will be held on Saturday, February 21, 2026 at 1pm, bringing together local singing groups in the breathtaking setting of St Davids Cathedral, with proceeds supporting Paul Sartori’s hospice at home services across Pembrokeshire.
Adding to the excitement is the involvement of Deke Sharon, often described as the godfather of contemporary a cappella music and best known as the musical force behind the hugely popular Pitch Perfect films. His visit to Pembrokeshire is a rare opportunity for local audiences and performers alike.
The American music producer first came to the county in late 2025, when he delivered a workshop event at the invitation of Pembrokeshire Pop Voices. The group has chosen Paul Sartori as one of its charities for the year and continues to find creative ways to support hospice care in the community.
As well as this upcoming cathedral concert, Pembrokeshire Pop Voices have also released a charity single titled Love the Bones of You, launched before Christmas. Every stream, play, and download help raise vital funds for Paul Sartori, ensuring more people across Pembrokeshire can receive compassionate care at home when they need it most.
Supporters can take part simply by asking their smart speaker to “Play Love the Bones of You by Pop Voices”, a small action that makes a big difference.
The music fundraising continues into the spring, with Pembrokeshire Pop Voices also teaming up with Paul Sartori super supporters The Slipway Ukes on Saturday, March 28 at 7.30pm at The Regency Hall in Saundersfoot. The evening will feature music, food, merriment, and charity support, alongside popular Pembrokeshire band Footbridge, all coming together to raise even more money through the power of live performance.
Rosie-Faye said: “These events are absolutely fantastic, not only are they wonderful experiences for audiences, they also raise vital funds for our hospice at home services.”
“We are so grateful to groups like Pembrokeshire Pop Voices, Totally Vocal Pembrokeshire, and The Slipway Ukes for using music to support care in our community. If you are part of a choir, band, or singing group and would like to put on a musical fundraiser or have chosen Paul Sartori as your Charity of the Year, please do get in touch. I would be delighted to offer support.” Anyone interested can email Rosie-Faye directly at [email protected]
