ON Wednesday, May 13, Torch Theatre goers can immerse themselves in the slapstick silliness of Derek Webb’s stage adaptation of HG Wells’ The Invisible Man.
This original, fast-paced and riotous adaptation boasts 15 characters, played by just three energetic actors, aided by quick and silly costume changes, prop manipulation, whacky imagination and tons of tongue-in-cheek fun. The theatrical, comedic re-telling is brought to to the Milford Haven stage by Our Star Theatre Company, after their hugely successful 2023 UK tour and critically acclaimed sell-out run at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
The British Theatre Guide describes the high-paced show: “An exuberant cast, Daniel Davis, Eleanor Catherine Smart and Sophie Watkins, deserve credit for confidence and maintaining a high pace throughout. Watkins is a talented performer, coaxing the best out of the piece.”
