Haverfordwest music teacher and soprano Clare Harrison will be performing as part of the International Eisteddfod Chorus in Llangollen.

A former musical director to the Tenby Male Choir, Clare has been juggling her music teaching and solo concert commitments in West Wales with North Wales and Shropshire concerts; staying on her narrowboat in order to attend the weekly choir rehearsals in Wrexham!

Clare will sing as part of Lleisiau Llan (Llan Voices) in a massed choral and orchestral concert on Wednesday, July 5 in remembrance of the fallen of Srebrenica, Bosnia and Ukraine.

The concert will see performers, Ukrainian refugees among them, unite for a programme which includes excerpts from Karl Jenkins’ haunting mass for peace, The Armed Man.

This is not Clare’s first appearance on the iconic International Eisteddfod stage as she was also part of The Celebration Chorus, performing Christopher Tin’s 'Calling All Dawns' in 2017.
