JOIN Star Wars characters for a fun-filled Falcon Fun Day at Pembroke Dock this Spring Bank Holiday! Meet your favourite Star Wars characters, take lightsaber lessons and shop genuine Star Wars merchandise and models at the town’s Heritage Centre.

An all-weather, dog-friendly, accessible family attraction, Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre celebrates the town’s rich maritime, military and cultural heritage - from the royal dockyard through the Second World War flying boats to Hollywood’s most iconic starship, the Millennium Falcon.

The annual event is hosted in the former dockyard chapel and its grounds with the support of the ‘Star Wars’ costumers and members of the Welsh Squad of the UK Garrison, 501st Legion, as well as cadets and staff of E Squadron, Army Cadets and Heritage Centre Volunteers.

At last year’s event, the incredible appearance of Darth Vader, Stormtroopers and a host of other iconic ‘Star Wars’ characters brought the magic of the galaxy far, far away right into Pembroke Dock. And with Lightsaber lessons, games and photocalls, they helped transform the day into something unforgettable for visitors - young and old alike!

This will be the town’s fourth Falcon Fun Day - always great success, attracting supporters from far and wide to the Heritage Centre, which houses a permanent exhibition detailing the construction of the Millennium Falcon in the town.

On Monday, May 25, visitors young and old will be able to learn how to wield a lightsaber, mingle with Storm Troopers and even grab a selfie with Darth Vader!

There will be a tasty barbecue and refreshments for sale, as well as genuine Star Wars merchandise and models, and some face-painting too.

The fun starts at the Pembroke Dock Heritage Centre at 11am and lasts until 3.30pm.

Admission charges apply: £8 adult, £20 family, £5 OAP’s and children (7-17).
