A PEMBROKE DOCK driver has been banned for drink driving.

David Janssens, of Water Street, appeared before Haverfordwest Magistrates Court on April 21.

The 38-year-old pleaded guilty to driving a Fiat Doblo on Ferry Lane, Pembroke Dock on April 6, while over the limit for alcohol (77 micrograms in 100ml)

His guilty plea being taken into account, he was disqualified for 20 months and fined £120.

The occasion attracted a further fine of £120 for using a motor vehicle on a road / public place without third party insurance, and an £80 fine for driving otherwise than in accordance with a licence. Janssens’ driving record was endorsed (no points) for each offence.

Costs were £85, plus a surcharge of £128.
