FORMER BBC Radio Folk Musician of the Year Tim Edey will be performing a concert in the intimate setting of Burnett's Hill Chapel, Martletwy, on Wednesday, June 18.
A virtuoso guitarist, as well as a talented singer and melodeon player, Tim is much in demand as a headline act at music festivals, while he has also played with many of the biggest names in the folk world, including the Chieftains, Altan and Christy Moore.
While his performances usually centre on the folk traditions of Scotland - where he lives - and Ireland, Tim's concerts tend to be a celebration of music of all kinds, from classical to Flamenco and from Morris tunes to Gypsy jazz.
The concert at Burnett's Hill on June 18 is Tim’s only Welsh date on his latest solo tour. Tickets can be reserved by phoning 01646 651725.
