Put a spring in your step this Easter with the National Trust in South West Wales. From egg hunts to bottle feeding lambs, there’s plenty to see and do at the charity’s special places in Carmarthenshire, Ceredigion and Pembrokeshire.

Over the holidays, visitors can head outdoors and keep the family active with a springtime walk. The Trust has a network of walking trails that will please even little explorers, with the chance to see nature waking up for the season.

Highlights include a magical walk through Abermawr’s bluebell woods down to the beach and a birdwatching adventure at Marloes Sands and Mere, both in Pembrokeshire.

For a closer look at the wildlife, help bottle feed the lambs at Llanerchaeron near Aberaeron (daily at 12 pm, 2 pm and 4 pm) or hop on a tractor trailer tour at Dinefwr in Llandeilo and meet Ceinwen, the hand-reared calf (April 17, 12 pm, 1.30 pm and 3 pm).

Or for a chocolate challenge, go on a Cadbury Egg Hunt over the bank holiday weekend. Bunny’s been busy hiding clues to sweet treats across South West Wales and little ones will love embarking on an Easter adventure to find them.
