Possession of a knife has earned a 25-year-old from Pembroke Dock a suspended prison sentence.
Appearing before Haverfordwest Magistrates’ Court on February 11, Lacey Sharp, of Bush Street, pleaded guilty to possessing a knife with a blade over 7.62cm at Bush Street on January 24.
Ordering the knife to be forfeited and destroyed, Magistrates imposed a custodial period of 26 weeks, suspended and supervised for 12 months.
The reasons for the custodial sentence were because of an unprovoked attack of a serious nature, aggravated by being under the influence and on a community order at the time of the offence. The suspension is based on realistic rehabilitation prospects.
Sharp is to abstain from consuming any alcohol for 120 days.
