The leader of Pembrokeshire County Council, Clr. Jamie Adams, recently visited Narberth to attend the education day organised by food festival committee.
Recycling and the environment played an important part in this year's food festival.
Students from Pembrokeshire College who are currently on the Welsh baccalaureate course were on hand to promote recycling.
County councillor Wynne Evans, who visited Pembrokeshire College recently to talk to the students and their tutors, said how impressed he was with their enthusiasm for the environment and how important it is to recycle.
The students made information signs for the entire food festival site, clearly highlighting what is recyclable and what is not.
"I have invited the students to attend the landfill and recycling plant in Haverfordwest during November," said Clr. Evans. "We are grateful to Mr. B. Walters, Mrs. L. Fudge, and Mrs. Y. Swann and of course all the students for their time at the festival."
