The children of Saundersfoot Playgroup and Daycare took part in their much-loved annual sponsored toddle recently.

With parents and grandparents joining in, the children set off from Saundersfoot School, walking down the hill to the slipway and all the way along the beach to Coppet Hall. There, they explored the rock pools before beginning their return journey.

On the way back across the beach, they enjoyed a second stop—this time to play in the sand and build some fantastic sandcastles.

After that, they showed great determination once more making their way back to the slipway, where they were treated to a well-deserved ice cream, kindly donated by Dan Ellison from The Mermaid Gift Shop.

The final challenge was the steep hill back up to playgroup—a huge accomplishment for such little legs!

A big thank you goes to all the parents and grandparents who came along to support, and to everyone who has sponsored the children. So far the total raised is nearly £200.
