TENBY RNLI Lifeboat’s new Coxswain, Gary Waring, had his first shout on Friday.

At 9.45pm on February 20, the all-weather lifeboat was requested to launch following a request by Dyfed-Powys Police to assist with locating a vulnerable person who was possibly in the Wiseman’s Bridge area.

As the volunteer crew were making their way, the Police confirmed that the person was now in their care and no further assistance was required.

The lifeboat was stood down to return to station, arriving at 10.20pm.
