With Ironman Wales postponed until next September a few Aces travelled to the fabulous Bowood House in Wiltshire for the Outlaw Half Ironman.

Well done on great performances from - Paul Slack (5hrs 06), Ricki Morgan (5hrs 13), Bill James (5hrs 30), David Kent (5hrs 37), Colin Barrett (who went the wrong way on the swim! 6hrs 6) closely followed by his wife Beverley (6hrs 9), Kes Aleknavious (6hrs 13), Emma Richards (6hrs 16), Ian Warne (6hrs 46).

Tenby’s Oliver Simon came third overall which was a great result.

Unfortunately Morgan Harwood Slate was struck over the head on the swim and decided to not continue. A big shout out goes to the Ace supporters who even managed to get the announcer to wear an Aces wig!

The swimathon Triple 5km (3 miles) Sea Swim was completed last weekend, with a well done to Ceire Merrison, Tracey Thomas and Will Lewis.

Well done also to David Poole and Ben Williams having completed two x 5kms, and the third one soon.

A big congrats goes to Mandy Draper (pictured) who completed Sunday’s Brighton Marathon on her birthday!
