CALDEY ISLAND 10KM AND 5KM RUNS – What a wonderful day we had last Saturday for our Annual run, both with the weather and fantastic turnout. Many thanks to the Caldey Boatmen, Caldey residents, volunteers and Aces members who helped Marshall the event, Frank who sounded the Firetruck alarm for the start and to Ben Childs for all his hard work. 64 Runners took part and the overall winner was Adam Hart in a great time of 42 minutes, Marina Wright winning the Ladies 10km race was presented with the Nicole Ferguson Trophy, in memory of Aces Member Nicole.

Chloe Day won the Junior 10km Plague and Imogen Kent won the Junior 5km Plague. A day was spent BBQing on the beach and playing rounders – great family day out with £1425 raised for Charity.

SWANSEA HALF MARATHON - Emma Richards, Emma Johns, Hayden Johns and Ricki Morgan.

CARDIFF SPRINT TRI - Sophie Thomas in 6th place in her Age Group 1hr 11 min and Rob Newman.

CARDIFF OLYMPIC TRI - Edward Clements coming in 4th place and Sahar Khan.

GREAT EAST 2MILE SWIM in Ipswich - Zoe McBeth in 1hr 22mins.

HARTEN RIDE – Well done to Peter Jones who along with Tenby CC rode from Harrogate to Tenby 286 miles in 36 hours raising money for the British Heart Foundation.

Tuesday - Route 6: (Tavernspite and Llanteg) Gumfreston, turn right after Heatherton, the Knapp, Jeffreyston, Reynalton, Templeton, Tavernspite, turn right for Llanteg, across main road at petrol station, down hill to Amroth, turn right for Summerhill, Wisemans Bridge, Saundersfoot, St Brides Hill, Tenby. (approx 25 miles). Sweepers John Badham and Des Rees.

Thursday - Route 1: (Pembroke loop) Lydstep, Hodgeston, Lamphey, Lower Lamphey Road, Pembroke Castle, Upper Lamphey Road, Lamphey, Hodgeston, Jameston, Lydstep, Tenby (approx 21.5 miles). Sweepers Ceire and Will.
