COTSWOLDS 113 (half Ironman distance): Set in the heart of the picturesque Cotswolds, the Swim is a one lap 1.9km in the well-known lake 32 based in the centre of the Ashton Keynes water park. The bike section leaves the water park and heads out the area on a flat and fast course into some of the Cotswolds most beautiful and quiet villages. The route is two laps, and the most outbound point is based at the top of the only real hill on the course - Neils hill in Hannington Wick. The 13-mile run takes in lake side paths, as well as local village routes before finishing back close to the lakeside transition in the finishers area. Michael Matthews - five hours 15, Claire Stubbs - five hours 21 and fourth in age group, Tom Stubbs - five hours 21 and first in age group, Steve Stubbs five hours 28, Claire Thomas - six hours 11, Kara Ellard six hours 31, Kathryn Bates - seven hours one minute.

ENDURE 24: This is a 24 hour race set in Wasing Park near Reading. A total of 3,000 runners take part in this amazing race which takes place over a five-mile (8 kilometre) trail loop in Wasing Woods and through the camping and race village. Jo Brace, Anto. O’Hara Ceire Merrison and Will Lewis completing their 100 miles with an hour to spare and we had Zoe McBeth with husband Chris McBeth completing in the solo run of 60 miles each in 24 hours - brilliant!

Ironman Staffordshire Half Ironman: The swim was a one lap, anti-clockwise course of Chasewater Lake with a short run from the exit of the swim to transition. The 56-mile bike leg was a one lap course through the heart of the Staffordshire countryside taking athletes through the Cannock Chase Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, back to the second transition area, athletes continued towards Stafford town centre through Great Haywood and Tixall where the second transition area was located at Riverway. The 13.1-mile run course consisted of three laps, taking athletes over and alongside the River Sow before heading into Stafford town centre, Victoria Park and weaving through the town centre before finishing in Market Square. Edward Clements - four hours 33 and sixth in age group, Sahar Khan - six hours 12 and 27th in age group.

Leeds Triathlon: The World Triathlon Series took place on Sunday through Leeds town centre and surrounding roads for the elite athletes form many countries. Earlier in the morning, they held a sprint distance tri where Jason Brazier, in his first event, finished in a great time of two hours 29 and in the standard distance tri Sophie Thomas competed and finished in two hours 37 coming ninth in age group and faster than Alistair Brownlee!
