If you’re interested in cycling, why not join the Taf Valley Cycling Club.

A beginners and juniors club is held on a Monday evening, while there’s a club ride on a Wednesday evening - and an even longer one on Saturday or Sunday, usually between 30 and 80 miles.

The club meets at The Fishers pub in Whitland and members often have a few drinks afterwards.

Club chairman is Gareth Edwards (tel. 07774 788349), while Gareth Powell (tel. 07817 806021) is secretary and also decides the routes.

It is also hoped to start spinning classes this winter.
