In their first round match of the Welsh Youth Cup, Narberth made the long journey to Nant Conwy in North Wales. After a four-hour journey, the coaches were concerned that it would take some time for the team to get into their stride.
They needn’t have worried as Narberth hit the ground running with good interplay getting them close to a try in the first few minutes. A try soon followed from a flowing move, with multiple phases before Brad Cramb released hard running Max Morgan. He was held short but the busy Elliot Evans nipped over in the corner.
Narberth scored again with another impressive try. Once more a multi phase attack ended with Wil Nicholas plunging over. He also converted .
The second half saw Narberth completely dominant. A long range penalty from Wil Nicholas was followed by tries from impressive hooker Harley Young and the ever excellent Iestyn Comey. Wil Nicholas converted both. The final score stood at 29-0. There were some strong performances from Kyle Day, Joel Davies and Yori Morgan but man of the match went to centre Brad Cramb (pictured).
