Under 8s

On Sunday, Tenby U8s travelled to Narberth for the Under 8s District Festival, where we made it to the semi-finals!

We lost our first game against Neyland, we won the second game 6-4 against St. Davids. We also won the third game in our pool against Hwllffordd 8-3, taking us to the festival’s semi-final for a place on finals day, but unfortunately we lost 6-7 to Cardigan.

To say it was a close game would be an understatement, but Tenby Under 8s all played with passion for the game and displayed great sportsmanship. Boys you did us all so proud.

Under 7s

March 25: Tenby 4 Pembroke Dock 2 (man of the match - Archie Noyce); Tenby 7 St. Clears 0 (m.o.m. - Dexter Cromwell).

April 15 - tournament in Neyland: Tenby narrowly missed out on finals day, with it all coming down to try difference with Pembroke Dock. The boys played so well and held their own against some good teams. Pembroke Dock 3 Tenby 3 (m.o.m. - Dexter Cromwell), Tenby 5 Fishguard 1 (m.o.m. - Iestyn Cole), Tenby 4 Haverfordwest 1 (m.o.m. - Kyan Smith).

On Sunday, Tenby hosted Laugharne. Tenby were strong from the start and played some excellent rugby. Tenby 6 Laugharne 1. M.o.m. - Jac Voysey.

Under 12s

Pictured top right are the team from Tenby Swifts Under 12s. Last weekend they made the short trip east into Carmarthenshire to a misty Laugharne and came away winners by an impressive 45 points to 5.

Team in the photo and try scorers were Max J (2), Dylan (1), Archie (1), Freddie, Iori B (2), Cairan (1), Kyle, Duane-Lee, Will, Josh, Tom, Harri, Iorri R, Max H and Miller. Missing from picture is Fletcher who had to make a sharp exit after the game.

Tenby United RFC and the whole of the Swifts section would like to wish the team all the best for the upcoming Pembrokeshire Cup Final to be played against Haverfordwest, in Haverfordwest on Sunday, May 6.

Under 17s

The Under 17s were in good form on Sunday as they defeated Haverfordwest 34-17 in the Mike Fry Cup. They now meet Pembroke in the semi-finals.
