Tenby United are sitting comfortably in mid-table of division two west after registering their second win of the season on Saturday.

And they did so in emphatic style as they put Loughor to the sword in an impressive 30 points to three victory....and that was after the visitors had taken an early lead at the Heywood Lane ground.

It was a short-lived advantage for Loughor, though, as the United began to take a grip of what was the only match of the day played in the division.

First young fly-half Harry Rossiter was on target with a penalty goal to make it all-square, and by half-time the United had got their noses in front thanks to an unconverted try by centre Ben Pugh.

Their five-point advantage at the break soon began to grow in the second half though as the accurate boot of Rossiter kept the scoreboard ticking over with four more penalties.

Indeed, with the United growing in confidence and the pack well on top of their opponents, Loughor found themselves on the backfoot for much of the time and it came as no surprise when impressive flanker forced his way over for their second try of the afternoon.

Rossiter failed with the conversion attempt from a difficult angle, but he was bang on target when a piece of quick-thinking from a penalty saw him kick across field into the waiting hands of winger Jack Gooding, who left defenders floundering before feeding the supporting Cooke, who crossed for his second try.

It again went unconverted and was to prove the final score as the whistle sounded soon after, leaving the Seasiders celebrating another fine win... and none more so than fullback Lloyd Thomas who was captaining the side for the first time.
