Athletes from Just Tri Junior Triathlon Club took part in the Myrddin Junior Triathlon in Carmarthen.

Fifteen junior triathletes took part in the last race of the Welsh Triathlon TriStars Series and put in an excellent performance.

Griff Jenkins and Amalie Hounsell raced in the TriStars S (Under 8) category. Finley Bruce, Carys Kenniford and Toby Housell competed in TriStars 1 (nine-10) and Ioan Mutter, Jack Bruce, Megan Cole, Josh Greenwood, Holly Callen, Eddie Waring, Will Allen, Molly Jones and Andrew Bugby all performed superbly in the TriStars 2 (11-12) race. Finally, Teaghan Waring raced in the TriStars 3 (13-14) category.

It was a highly contested race, with over 170 children from across Wales participating. A number of children managed top 10 positions and for a number of children, it was their first full triathlon. It ends a successful first season of racing for Just Tri. Hopefully, more children will compete next year and compete for The TriStars Series.
