The Borderers edged their first home match of 2015 thanks to two penalties from James Stephenson.

Two kicks towards the end of the first half saw the hosts lead 6-0 at the interval in a closely contested match.

Gorseinon winger Gareth James missed a couple of penalties to level things up, but got themseleves back into the game with a try from number eight Sean Heycock, but the missed conversion proved costly, as Whitland hung on for their fifth win of the season.
