The ever-popular Annual Tenby Open Week kicked off last Saturday night with the Captain’s Reception.
The club captain, Neil Thomas, welcomed everyone to the club, and provided an itinerary of the events and competitions planned over the next six days.
Neil then introduced the Mayor of Tenby, Clr. Sue Lane, who welcomed all the visitors on behalf of Tenby town.
Now in its 38th consecutive year, Tenby Open Week remains a keenly anticipated fixture in the club’s diary. Hundreds of competitors from over 83 golf clubs throughout the UK and overseas (as far as New Zealand!) have signed up to take part in 12 separate competitions over the six days.
With prizes, bag draw, and entertainment every evening, as well as the opportunity to play the world ranked famous old links, it is easy to see why it remains so popular.
Below are the results for the first three days, the following three days and summary of the week will follow in next Friday’s edition.
