Yet again the weather has put paid to any hopes of a full fixture list taking place on Pembrokeshire’s football pitches and that applies to midweek fixtures as well as weekends.

It’s fair to say this season is unprecedented, few if any would have imagined games being called off in April, but there have been plenty.

Tuesday evening’s game between Merlins Bridge and Carew was postponed as was Narberth’s against Goodwick United.

Angle played, although they lost 2-0 at Milford United.

In division two, Kilgetty’s game against Hundleton was postponed, as was Lawrenny’s against Saundersfoot.

In the derby between Pennar Robins’ seconds and Monkton Swifts’ seconds, Pennar won 3-2 thanks to a Sam Southcott brace and one from Jack Sullivan, while Connor Rees and Luke Hendry scored for the Swifts.

On Monday, a Ben Nicholas goal was not enough for Monkton Swifts after they lost 6-1 at home against Hakin United, while three goals from Steve Thomas and one each from Nick Squire and Nathan Evans helped St. Clears to a 5-1 win over Merlins Bridge seconds.

Manorbier United went down 5-1 at home against Manorbier United. Tom Randall scored for the hosts, while a hat-trick from Joey Wilson and one each from Stuart Slater and Jordan Wright ensured the points went back with the Boro.

In division four, Kilgetty hammered Angle 12-0 after a hat-trick from Jack Walker, a brace apiece for Andrew Evans and Dean Morgan and solitary strikes by Ben Harries, Alex Flemming, Sean Lewis, Ryan Rowlands and Carl Gritter.

Carew thirds had the better of Lawrenny seconds, winning 4-2 after a brace by Grant James and one each from Mark Davies, while for Lawrenny, Phil Cole and Matt Kidney scored.

At Hundleton, the home team’s seconds won 9-2 against Milford Athletic after four goals from Connor Hay, two from James Sharp and one each from Sam Blunsden, James Potter and Jack Phillips.

On Saturday, Angle had a fabulous result given their performances and struggles to raise a team of late with a 3-3 draw at home against Clarbeston Road thanks to goals from Ben Adams, Sam Richards and Nick Willis.

Carew’s game against Goodwick was postponed, as was Pennar’s at Hakin.

A great result for Lamphey, though, winning 4-1 against Merlins Bridge after scores from Jason Evans, Billy and Mike Davies and an own goal, while Monkton beat Narberth 6-1 after three from James Russell, two from Patrick McDonagh and one from Ryan Griffiths.

In division two, the game between Hundleton and Solva was postponed, as was Llangwm’s v St. Clears and Saundersfoot’s game at Fishguard.

Lawrenny went without a game, too, after their game against Hakin was postponed, while three goals by Jake Proctor, one from Billy Lawrence and two from Mike Beynon helped Kilgetty beat Letterston 6-1.

There were no games at all in division three, while Angle seconds lost 9-0 at Herbrandston.

All other games in the division were postponed, while in division five, the only game to take place was between Cosheston and Letterston, with Cosh winning 10-1.

Jason Davies and Corey Edge both scored three, while Ryan Bowen hit a brace alongside goals from Nathan Ferrier and Adam South.
