There was whole feast of matches in the Manderwood Pembrokeshire AFL last Saturday, with teams looking to give themselves a late Christmas/early New Year’s gift.
In Division One, there was a big game between Carew and Merlins Bridge.

It was Carew’s day as they won the game 2-1 to move ahead of the Wizards in the league table. Fraser Findlay and Jack Christopher were the heroes for home side.
There was an early New Year treat for spectators at the Neyland v Narberth match as they witnessed a five-goal thriller.

Moving on to Division Three, Cosheston AFC suffered a humiliating 7-1 defeat away to Clarbeston Road II.
The only positive thing was Michael Burgess scoring for the visitors.
Carew’s II game with Haverfordwest CC was postponed, with Pendine’s match with Pembroke Boro also getting called off.

Finally in Division Five, Angle played out a 1-1 draw with Milford Athletic II, with James Davies scoring for the hosts.
Pembroke Boro II will go into the new year in high spirits following their victory over Saundersfoot Sports.
