Carew Football Club held their annual presentation evening at Tudor Lodge, Jameston on Saturday.
After a sumptuous buffet, the talk of the evening was the success of the season, with the 1st team finishing fourth in the league, only six points behind the champions, being runners-up in both the Senior Cup and West Wales Intermediate Cup, and were the top goal scorers in the league.
The second team reached the Cup semi-final and finished third in the league and the third team won the Division Five Cup and also finished third in the league.
Both chairman Alan Brindley and manager Rob Scourfield praised the efforts of the club, players and all the supporting individuals who make the club tick and last but not by any means least, the club sponsors, without whom the club would be unable to function as it does.
Everyone present was looking forward to going on to even bigger and better things next season.
