The victory was enough to see the Sharks wrap up the title for an amazing ninth consecutive year, the start of their glory run going back to the 2008 season.
Haverfordwest gave them a good run for their money this year, but had to wait until last weekend to see if Pendine could do them a favour by pulling off a shock result.
It was not to be, though. There were no surprises and it was Tenby who were left celebrating another success.
It is rare that a league game is played so late in the season, but the match had been postponed earlier in the year and in the end this was the only date available to both teams.
Would the autumn air and lack of match practice prove significant in the outcome? Only time would tell.
As it turned out, it didn’t seem to affect Tenby and they cruised to a comfortable win, before the rains came sending everyone scurrying for cover.
The win meant they leap-frogged the waiting Haverfordwest, who had to be content with the runners-up spot, the Town’s 165 league points being nine short of Tenby’s title-winning 174, with Saundersfoot back in third in 146.
During the season, Tenby won 14 of their 16 games, clocking up 1,464.25 shots for, with 1033 against.
