Thanks to donations and a series of raffles, Tenby Bowling Club ladies purchased a defibrillator in memory of the late David Rees, who was a popular member of the club.

The defibrillator was sited by the Tenby and Saundersfoot First Responders and a demonstration of its use along with CPR was given by Tony Wall to bowling club members.

The defibrillator is positioned on the front wall of the club in Sutton Street and is available for use by the community in any emergency.

Pictured flanked by First Responders Tony Wall and Ben James are Julian Rees with mother Liz Rees who donated the defibrillator in memory of husband David.

Also seen are Tenby Bowling Club ladies - Jean Lloyd, Liz Rees, Carol Lloyd and Jan Lloyd who along with many others were active in raising money from raffles and donation for the defibrillator.
