DESPITE there being no Swim Factor competition at this year's Saundersfoot New Year's Day Swim event, the occasion still had the celeb factor, as past Pop Idol winner Will Young was spotted in the village enjoying his start to 2012.

The singer, who enjoyed a great 2011 scoring his third number one album, was happy to pose for a photo with locals Adam Griffiths, Amanda Owen and Harriet Merrony, in this snap courtesy of their friend Zoe Westerman.
