Narberth and Whitland Round Table are delighted to bring a ‘Community Firework Display’ back to Whitland.

Tomorrow (Saturday) at Parc Dr Owen in Whitland will be the place to be for this event - takimnh place in the heart of the town.

Narberth and Whitland Chairman James Elkins said” “It’s this weekend and we’re excited to welcome Bright Sparks Fireworks Displays to Parc Dr Owen in the heart of the town.

“They’re Award Winning in British Fireworks competitions and it’ll be a display you wouldn’t want to miss!”

Narberth and Whitland Round Table Chairman James Elkins commented: “We’re really excited to bring this fantastic event back to Whitland, I remember growing up coming here to watch the displays, it really was one of the best around.”

Mayor of Whitland, Frank Connor-Hughes who has also been a great help getting the event back to the town said: “I am, along with so many in Whitland town and surrounding area community members, so pleased to see the Whitland Fireworks coming back.

“I am so grateful for the hard work, dedication and belief of the Narberth and Whitland Round Table members involved in this revitalised way in which we can enjoy another community gathering in Parc Dr Owen this year.

“Thank you to all of the volunteers and to all that help support this event and enjoy the night - Make Whitland Proud.”

On the night the gates will be opening at 5 pm, with children’s Fancy dress which will be judged at 7pm by Pure West Radio. The main event will be at 8 pm.

Entry for those aged 12 and under will be free! And everyone else is £5. A group ticket online for £16 which will get 4 paying adults in is also on offer

Please note, organisers cannot allow sparklers onto the Parc for safety reasons.

There is a free Park and Ride set up, with parking at the Mart Ground in Whitland taking families to Parc Dr Owen and people are encouraged to park there to avoid congestion in the town.

There will be a food and drink tent serving burgers and hot dogs and drinks including soft drinks and a licensed bar serving Alcohol.

There will also be a selection of fair ground attractions on the Parc.

All profits will be fed back into the local community, local charities and local groups through donations.
