WHITLAND U7s and 8s win ROUND ROBIN
Whitland U7s 5 Narberth 0
Whitland got off to a good start with first half tries from Owain Gibbon and Tristan Rees. And they didn't let up in the secons half, with another three tries scored by Owain Gibbon, Jamie Thomas and Tom Williams.
Whitland U7s 5 Cardigan 1
Whitland didn't get too confident after their win against Narberth. Nevertheless, they again got off to a brilliant start against Cardigan, with another two tries in the first half coming from Owain Gibbon and Tristan Rees.
The second half was just as good, with an early try coming from Tristan Rees.
Then, after some good passing and tagging from both teams, another two tries were scored by Whitland from Jamie Thomas and Tom Williams, with Cardigan responding with one of their own to make the score 5-1 at the final whistle.
Man of the match was Owain Evans, who played very well in both games, showing great skill and determination.
Whitland U8s 4 Cardigan 2
The Under 8s round robin got off to a good start, with two tries coming from Josh Davies and Owain Hughes.
Cardigan fought back and scored a try of their own to make the half-time score 2-1 to Whitland.
The second half saw another two tries scored by the young Borderers through Josh Davies.
Cardigan again showed determination in the second half by scoring a second try to leave the final score 4-2.
Man-of-the-match was new player, Joseph Owen, coming from Laugharne, who had a brilliant first game playing for Whitland Under 8s.
Whitland U8s 2 Narberth 1
There was a very close game in the local derby. A first half try by Hamish Cameron took the home side into the lead, but Narberth replied with a try to level things at half-time.
The second half proved as tight as the first, but a try from Josh Davies clinched a very hard fought game for the home side.

Whitland U9s 2
Tenby 0
On a glorious Easter Sunday morning, the boys travelled down to Tenby. It started out as a hard fought game, with some good rucking from both teams.
Whitland were keeping Tenby from scoring with some hard tackling from William Emmanuel and some good long passes from Che Thomas to James Thomas on the wing.
The first try was scored by Aled Davies when, after a good sprint and some side-stepping, he managed to get the ball down right in the corner.
All the Whitland boys played well as a team, with fast breakaway runs coming from Lewis, Iwan, Rhodri and Blue.
The next try came from Sebastian, who again crossed the oine after a long sprint.
Whitland U10s
On Sunday, April 5, the Under 10s took part in the Neyland tournament.
They were runners up in their pool and then went on to play in the semi-finals against the winners of the other pool.
After an amazing match, which lasted over threequarters-of-an-hour, an exhausted Whitland eventually won through with a golden try.
They then immediately had to play in the final and lost out to Crymych, but were nevertheless congratulated by all the other teams - from as far afield as Cardiff - as being the best team of the tournament.
Team fielded: Daniel Evans, Morgan Short, Jack Richards, Gino Setaro, Jack Flanagan, Scott Lloyd, Sam Davies, Lewis Jones, William Lewis, Lee, Charlie Williams and Rhodri Rees.
