It is easy to criticise major companies for their lack of interest in local problems, but my dealings with Western Power Distribution in the last few days have shown that this is a company that listens and acts swiftly.

I noticed on Saturday morning that graffiti had been sprayed on the door of their sub-station at Tenby South Beach. I Tweeted a photo of it to them and only two minutes later (!) they replied, promising to sort out the problem as soon as possible.

Two days later, on Monday, they removed the graffiti as promised.

What service! Well done WPD, and many thanks.
