EXPLORE the local wildlife together at West Wales Wild Watch, free wildlife recording sessions with West Wales Biodiversity Information Centre.

Record species and have fun looking at nature in a relaxed, practical session. All are welcome, regardless of experience, so it’s a great way to discover your local wildlife.

Upcoming sessions:

Friday, January 16, 10am-1pm – Meet in Letterston Memorial Hall SA62 5RY (What3words: weep.awoke.wrong)

Sunday, January 25, 10am–1pm – Meet in Cosheston Village Hall, SA72 4UW. (What3words: firmer.twit.than).

Bring suitable outdoor clothing for the weather. Each session provides a short indoor introduction to recording, before heading out for a walk. Tea and biscuits provided.

The ‘LERC Wales’ App is the one being used to record wildlife. To join in using the app, it helps to download the app beforehand and create an account. You can also record using a notebook and pencil, and submit that to record.wwbic.org.uk .
