Vintage tractor enthusiast Alun Thomas and his daughter Enfys from Ambleston are pictured with nurses from the Cancer Day Unit at Withybush Hospital, where he presented a cheque for £1,125 after another highly successful tractor run recently, which attracted no less then 54 other enthusiasts.

Margaret Bond, the hospital’s Cancer Day Unit Appeal representative said: “Alun has found a great way to raise funds for the Cancer Day Unit at Withybush.

“He is an ex-patient and is forever grateful to the nursing team for the care shown to him when he needed them. On behalf of the nursing team we would like to thank all involved on the day.”
