Pembrokeshire County Council, with funding from the Welsh Assembly Government, is currently involved with a new scheme across the county called Tidy Towns.

And Clr. Wynne Evans is delighted to announce that Narberth will be one of the chosen towns in the county.

The scheme will take place between June 22 and June 26.

He said: "I am pleased that a number of local organisations have already contacted me and put forward a number of areas within the town that would involve litter pick and generally tidy up.

"It is important that local volunteers and organisations  get behind this very important initiative, and thus enable local people to help towards a clean, safe environment within the town."

Clr. Evans added: "I have also requested that dog wardens target certain areas where there has been an unacceptable increase in dog fouling."

If anyone has an area that they feel needs a general clean-up, Clr. Evans would love to hear from them.
