National Theatre Wales TEAM are launching their four year project in Pembrokeshire next week with an event in Tenby, which will preview a special production coming to the resort in September.
The event will be held at Caffi Pura alongside the De Valence Pavilion, on Upper Frog Street from 7.30 pm, on Thursday, April 26.
Featured will be live music, including a set by Pembrokeshire local Lucy Jones, and a performance from the unbelievably captivating poet, writer and performer Louise Wallwein, whose ‘The Tide Whisperer’ will be performed in Tenby in September as a production by the National Theatre Wales.
The production by artistic director Kully Thiarai will see audiences travel from the harbour in Tenby, and explore the Pembrokeshire coast, by boat.
‘The Tide Whisperer’ is described as an ‘immersive show’, which aims to confront the realities of modern displacement and mass movement.
“The party on April 26 will be a great opportunity to have a chin wag and to find out more about the project. We’d love to see you there!” said West Wales TEAM Associate for the National Theatre Wales, Robert Price.
