TENBY and District Arts Club starts back for 2026 with a concert by Broadoak Folk trio on Friday, January 9 in St Johns Church Hall.
The concert starts at at 7pm and everyone is welcome. Admission is £5, or £3 for members.
The spring programme continues on January 16 with ‘Gambia’ by John Archer-Thompson, followed on by Mike Allen January 23 with ‘The Ordinary Life of a Pembrokeshire Policeman’. At the earlier time of 3pm on January 30, photographer Nigel McCall rounds off the month with ‘Aberglasney’.
On February 6, the club will be exploring ‘Scotsborough House’ with Angela Jones, then on the 13th they will welcome Cor y Mor to St Johns Church for a concert.
Following a week’s break, February 27 takes the form of an evening of popular music with Lee Gilbert. Supported by Night Out Scheme, entry costs £10, or £8 for members.
More music will fill the church on March 6 as the Griffon Choir will perform a concert. Expect prickly proceedings on March 13 with Ginny Batt and a friend from ‘The Pembrokeshire Hogspital’.
‘Mrs Baker’s Company’, a play by Alison Neil, will be staged at St Mary’s Church House on March 20, at 3pm. Supported by Night Out Scheme, entry costs £10, or £8 for members.
Then on March 27, it will be the Quaynotes Choir’s turn to provide choral entertainment. Following a break, the final meeting of the term will take place on April 10.
The Tenby & District Arts Club was established in 1947, boasts over 90 members, and meets on Fridays between October and Easter.
Unless otherwise stated, admission to Arts Club events costs £5 or £3 if you are a member of Tenby Arts Club, and meetings are at 7pm in St Johns Church or Church Hall, Warren Street.
