A brewing company in Tenby have teamed up with Welsh rockers to collaborate on a new head-banging beer!

Tenby Brewing Co. have joined forces with Bridgend metal band Those Damn Crows to come up with a new ale called ‘Blink of an IPA’ - a 5 per cent West Coast IPA.

Posting on social media, Those Damn Crows who hit the top 20 with their most recent album ‘Point of No Return’ in 2020, said that they were ‘delighted’ to announce their latest beer collaboration, with the ‘fine folks’ at Tenby Brewing Co.

“Brewed by the beach, this West Coast IPA packs a punch! Expect resinous pine and citrus notes from a generously dry hop. There’s a satisfying bitter punch on the end so you’ll want to crack open another one straight away.”

Rob Faulkner and James Beavan who founded Tenby Brewing Co back in 2014, were recently granted a licence variation by Pembrokeshire County Council to allow an outside drinking area at their base at The Salterns to allow a ‘tap-house’ to be set up where customers can enjoy the beers produced on site.

It’s not the first time that Tenby Brewing Co have seen famous rockers give the seal approval to one of their beers.

Back in 2019 the company brewed something very special for US band ‘Panic! At The Disco’ - launching limited edition cans of the beer named ‘IP!ATD’ to coincide with the group’s UK tour, where Rob and James got to meet the band backstage at their Cardiff gig.
