How would you like to get a letter from His Majesty the King? Well, that’s what happened to a boy from Knowling Mead in Tenby this week.
Pictured is five-year-old Stanley, a pupil at Ysgol Hafan Y Môr. His mum, Louise James told the Observer that Stanley got a letter from King Charles on Monday, after sending him a letter congratulating him on becoming King and saying how sad he was to hear about the Queen dying.
The royal reply was postmarked Buckingham Palace, included a picture of the young Charles with his mother Elizabeth and read:
“It was very kind of you to send me such a wonderfully generous message following the death of my beloved mother. You most thoughtful words are enormously comforting, and I cannot tell you how deeply they are appreciated at this time of immense sorrow.
“Charles R.”
